the Dip/RSA after my names represents a diploma from the royal school of art for photo journalism.

after the break up of my first marriage i needed a job with accommodation.  i blagged my way into a job as the press photographer at butlin's.

my father taught me the basics of darkroom technology and i was in.

i had a fully equipped darkroom and all the materials i needed to hone my skills and many stage artists and portfolio seeking redcoats to practice on.

i soon got the position of staff photographer at the lincolnshire standard group newspapers.
